A New Site with Content Migration from a Legacy System Built in Classic ASP

Solutions

We had to migrate the site from a legacy system built in Classic ASP. The key was to co-ordinate various activities, which started out by creating the wireframe. Due to time constraints on this project, we started populating content before the CSS design templates were built. Part of the migration process involved us creating a data extraction tool to allow us to easily migrate the content into Kentico. We enabled the Kentico workflow feature to get content approved by key stakeholders.

Results

Initial key benefits were increased revenue, improved efficiency and enhanced branding.  In simple terms better value all round, and all in three weeks!

Further Developments

Since launch, we have created French and Chinese versions and are currently developing a full newsletter sign-up facility integrating with Salesforce and Pure360.
