Scalable Ecommerce Site with Intranet, Extranet and Community Features

With a project of this scale, which included not only a standard website with a massive content migration element, but also personalised member areas (with widgets), e-commerce (with role based personalisation - different products and prices for different member roles) and advanced search facility, amongst other functionality, scope and planning were critical. We had over two days of specific planning and architecture meetings before creating a requirements document, wireframes and a project plan.

The project took approximately four months to complete and test, and we successfully launched in Jan 2011.
