Kompan came to Pull with a brief for launching a new concept in playgrounds. A new concept wrapped new play structures themed around timeless Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales with a unique digital layer.
While still operating as a traditional playground, parents and teachers scan the playground and download an app which delivers stories and even augmented reality characters onto their tablet or smartphone, expanding play opportunities and extending the playground into the home or classroom.

The next challenge was to create a truly compelling piece to leave behind and direct-mailing collateral for local authority and education-based customers.
It wasn’t possible to bring them all to a playground, so we brought the playground to them!
Pull devised a unique tri-fold pop-up video brochure. This combined a 3D model of a play structure, a video presenting the features and benefits and footage of their playground in action along with footage from the app. The app could be downloaded from a scan of the pop-up structure so that recipients could experience it for themselves. The brochure was produced in 27 languages.
